Graham graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1975 and started his insurance career with Fireman’s Fund in Fairfax, VA where he gained experience in both personal and commercial lines. Graham then moved back to Baltimore and started an insurance agency that was affiliated with a large real estate firm. Two years later Graham became a Director for J. Ramsay Barry, a 100 year old agency of which his father was Chairman before he passed away in 1981. Graham was the fourth generation in this family business. Then in 1986 Graham joined Diversified Insurance Inc. as a partner producer.

In 2014 Graham, along with his two sons, Eric and Christopher, formed The Kastendike Insurance Group and partnered with MDP to expand their operation to an office in Cockeysville, MD.
Graham sits on several not-for-profit and for-profit boards. He was one of the founders of the Child Abuse Prevention Center of Maryland which is now known as The Family Tree, a major nonprofit with revenues in the millions. He was also one of the founders of the William S. Baer School Partnership Board over 28 years ago and has served as its Chairman since inception. The Baer School educates 260 multi-handicap children from Baltimore City and is a leader in education enhancements to children with disabilities. Graham and his wife, Debbie, live in Baltimore and Annapolis and love boating and spending time with their four grandchildren.

Galveston Historical Foundation once struggled to find insurance representatives who not only appreciated historic buildings and vessels, but also understood the complexities of owning and managing these valuable treasures.  Following Hurricane Ike in 2008, MDP and the National Trust Insurance Services proved their value and commitment.  We now enjoy almost ten years of service and have the confidence of a comprehensive insurance package that we review annually.  This confidence allows us to do what we do — interpreting and stewarding these nationally recognized historic properties—and MDP and NTIS to do what they do—service a customer with loyalty and an eye for cost efficient insurance coverage.
